I co-host an apartment while the owner is overseas

Friends,

I am wondering if someone has advice on how I might manage a listing.  I have taken on a cohost arrangement and manage an apartment while the owner is overseas. However he is arriving back earlier than expected and I have acquired a number of bookings for November and December - great for him but a puzzle for me as to how I can best  prep the place while he is staying there? Any best practice  guidance on this will be so appreciated . Warmest Ree (Cherie)

@Cherie145 I assume you mean he will move out when there is a booking? If so just ask him to leave early or even the day before.

Thank you. I have decided to deal with it case by case to get a sense of how to play this.

I'm a little confused why would you need to prepare the place any differently whether the owner or a guest is staying @Cherie145

just ensure you leave enough time for changeovers.

Where will he be staying while the guests are in the property?

Hello @Cherie145 Welcome to the Community Center ✌️

As Mike and Helen have mentioned, could you please provide more details about the situation? Are you planning to rent some bedrooms while the owner resides there, requiring the organization of shared amenities and spaces? How exactly will the arrangement be?

Keep us posted.
