I have a place in Joshua tree California do you want to look at the listing it’s desert willow retreats it’s booked every weekend everyone likes it. I just don’t get very many weekly bookings kind looking around to see what I could change. Thank you in advanced here’s the link if it works again thanks for any input. I’m kind of puzzled at this point

Hey @Ed419 , Here's a little advanced technique that I came up with myself and I think it's perfect for your case; try lowering your minimum stay for the rest of the week and keep it for the weekends. Essentially creating custom rules where you set a higher minimum stay for weekends compared to other days. You can also lower the price for normal days compared to your weekends by utilizing the "weekend pricing" feature. This way you'll fill you calendar gaps and maximize revenue. I know I got a little technical but let me know if you need help setting things up

Hello @Ed419 👋

I hope you don't mind, I added a photo from your listing to your post. I'm hoping that with a beautiful photo, it may inspire more hosts will pop by and support you with constructive and helpful feedback.

That being said, I wonder if @Dana225@Kitty-and-Creek0 and @Carrie643 would mind taking a look and see if they can share their support and advice.

Thank you so much in advance. 😍

Hello! I think there are many reasons you could appeal to different demographics for a mid week stay so you could try targeting based on peoples travel reasons… maybe a dedicated workspace and local places to eat would bring in people on a work trip ( just an example)

but use whatever reasons folks might visit your area… or perhaps holidays/ events etc

also as someone else suggested try dynamic pricing for mid week bookings- it might simply be down to volume of listings in your area and how prices compare. People always love a deal if you can accomodate that… Just my two cents!

we get people coming to stargaze in Joshua tree or rock climb mostly on the weekend we have people coming from LA to get away from the city life. Thanks your thoughts on this, I think I will make a workspace
