Introduction to William & Christy Helms

Good morning to everyone within the Airbnb community my name is Will and my better half is Christy.  Married for over 30 years we have used Airbnb for a long long time and now are trying our hat at hosting.  We purchased a small cottage in Lewes DE in a community called Angola By the Bay this past year and did some nice and easy improvements and furnishings and now have is listed for rent via Airbnb.  Great news is we are getting a quick response and have three reservations already within our first two weeks of having it listed.  Our goal is to not rent it all the time but maybe up to 50% of the time.  

I do have one easy question regarding how to give Christy access to the property as a host.  Currently, I set everything up using my contact info which means all of the messaging and access to the calander etc run through me but we want Christy to have the same accessabilty as I have.  How do I do that?

You can add your wife as a cohost .

You can Add Christy as a Co-Host as mentioned. She would need to create her own Airbnb profile and then you send a email invite link to invite her to Co Host. Be sure to send it to the email address on her Airbnb profile. I suggest using a computer to send it and accept it. Sometimes the links don't work in the App.

Just to note...

Even a full-access Co Host will not be able to access your Scheduled Messages/Quick Replies and the Host Guidebook. It's very strange, but that's the way Airbnb does it. Christy can copy and paste your messages under her Co Host access if she likes. However, she will not be able to see or edit your Scheduled Messages/Quick Replies Templates. She will see guest messages though and have full access to the listing and calendar.
