Is there a formal written unregistered guests policy

Does AirBnB have a policy stated anywhere that guests cannot bring unregistered overnight visitors? Is is written anywhere? Is it communicated to guests in any way?

@Stephanie792,

I am glad to hear that things worked out in your favor.  What did you ask Airbnb to assist you with, and they declined?  I think that the only thing that they could have done is cancel the reservation if you'd requested due to the additional guests.  If you didn't call, and request a cancellation when you found out about the additional guests, and let the guests stay, then Airbnb would not try to acquire payment of fees after the completion of a reservation.  They usually do not charge a guest for breaching house rules, only for damages or if excess cleaning is required.

Don't just believe what I say, check the Airbnb Help Center

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am a little not sure about when you said "the guest enters into a contract with the host". Do you mean you have signed a contract with the guest or not?

Just want to know the House Rules or House Manual are valid or not in the court. Thank you again.

Cancelling and asking guests to leave presents stress and danger to the host... and it is questionable if airbnb will then refund the guest anyway.

Curious to learn more about lawsuit.
