Good Day,

Thank you for your reply. I will inform how Airbnb delivery service is working, and what are the steps.

1) I will make the delivery papers with AirBNB agency and I'll give them the keys and contract, so the delivery can be started, I will pay the shipping costs. Also, a copy of the contract signed by me, will be provided.

2) After, I will make the papers for delivery and they will require for your payment confirmation of the first month and the guarantee deposit (€ 1300.00 + € 1300.00 = € 2600.00) to the company. AirBNB agency will send you a delivery notification to let you know they have the Keys and the papers in their custody.
Also, AirBNB agency will give you further instructions about the money deposit.

3) After the payment is confirmed, the delivery process will start and when you will receive the keys, you'll got 2 days to inspect the apartment before your final decision, if you will rent it or not.

4) If everything it's alright and you'll rent the apartment, you will instruct AirBNB agency to give me the money. Further payments will be sent directly to my personal account.

5) If you refuse to rent the apartment, AirBNB agency will give you a full refund (€ 2600.00) and you will give them back the keys and the contract.

If you agree to go further with the renting, please send me your details like this, so I can take care of delivery:

Name:
Address:
City/Postal Code:
Country:
Phone number available:
Photo of ID or Passport:
Date of moving:

Thank you !
All the best,

Hi @Santhosh17, I hope you're doing well!

I did a quick search on the Community Center and found similar posts of people reporting similar fraudulent activities as seen here https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Support-with-your-bookings/Worried-to-be-scammed/m-p/1373886

Also, I just wanted to share an article from our Help Center that explains more about "How do I know if an email or website is really from Airbnb?

Check for legitimate links
Fraudulent emails can contain links to fake Airbnb web pages that try to steal your information. Don’t click links in any email you’re not sure about.

A real link to Airbnb will begin with https://www.airbnb.com or a country-specific URL like https://es.airbnb.com, https://it.airbnb.com, https://www.airbnb.at or https://www.airbnb.co.uk. If you click a link that takes you to a page that looks like Airbnb but doesn’t start with this address, it’s a fraudulent page and you should close it.

Check for official Airbnb domains
Fraudulent emails often come from domains that may appear similar, such as @bnb.com or @reservation-airbnb.com. But legitimate emails from Airbnb will only come from the following domains:

@airbnb.com
@airbnbaction.com
@airbnblove.com
@airbnbmail.com
@support-email.airbnb.com
@supportmessaging.airbnb.com
@airbnb.zendesk.com
@e.airbnb.com
@express.medallia.com
@ext.airbnb.com
@guest.airbnb.com
@host.airbnb.com
@noreply@qemailserver.com
@outreach.airbnb.com
@research.airbnb.com

If it's not sent from one of these addresses, it’s not from Airbnb.

This is 100% a scam @Santhosh17 .

if you want to book a short term rental on Airbnb you need to use their platform not respond to ads on third  party platforms

1. airbnb doesn't handle contracts or keys

2 they don't ask for that sort of information

3. they don't ask for deposits

if it looks too good to be true - it normally is
