Hi guys, I'm brand new here. I just published our first listings this week and we have our first booking, Yay!!
I apologize if this question or issue has been reported on already. I have searched for it, however, I only see issues related to connecting to calendars form third party platforms. I also saw a post from someone who said the calendar syncing issues are as a result of an update to the calendar feature which was made in Oct 2023? I'm not sure if this explains my issue or not but that seems like a long time ago for it still to be an issue..
My specific issue relates to connecting calendars between the entire home listing and the corresponding listings for each of the private rooms.
When I go to link my calendar/availability/connect multiple airbnb listings it says the following:
"Airbnb calendar linking
Choose the main listing that contains your other listings."
yet there are no listings to choose from. Furthermore, the button underneath which says "Next" is greyed out so its a dead end every time I try to link the calendars.
Am I doing something wrong? Anyone else experience this? is there a solution?
My obvious concern here is that I get double booked, so what I have done is manually blocked out the dates on the calendars of the private rooms. This however, is not a sustainable solution. I have spoken with Airbnb support however, they were unable to assist me or resolve the issue They did say they would refer my case to someone who would be in touch, however, I have not heard from anyone as yet. I am reaching out to the community here in the hope that perhaps someone else knows what my issue might be and can offer me a quick solution or point me in the right direction.
I have yet to create the last two listings for the private rooms - is this perhaps the reason? The platform knows the entire home has 4 bedrooms, so perhaps it will only link all 5 of the calendars together at the same time? I was hoping to link each one separately one by one when they are ready to be published.
Any solutions, advice or links to relevant threads would be most appreciated.
Thank you kindly!
Martin.
