Long last name -> airbnb does not qualify
Hello,
Does any experience this problem? My client (split account) is Thai and has a long last name, exceeding 10 characters and AIRBNB does not allow names exceeding 10 characters =.= Does anyone have any advice?
Thank you and appreciate all help in advance!

are you sure? my surname is 11 characters long, and has a space in it, plus a capital in the "wrong" spot
what advice are you seeking? how to register?
does it matter if you shorten the surname? or does it have to match some ID?
ps, i feel your pain! was setting up a bank account recently and it wouldn't verify my ID because when they autofilled the surname they capitalised the "van" part (I have a dutch surname, like van Damm) but on my ID the "van" has a lower case "v" and the second word has the capital. maddening. I had to go into the bank to sort it out. there are still far too many websites who won't allow a SPACE in your surname.

My name is not a problem it's less than that but many Thai name are well more than that, My airbnb account is in English as it is in passport, I never saw anything telling me otherwise.

Thank you for your replies 🙂 @Sudsrung0 @Gillian166
Yea unfortunately the name must be 100% precise as how it appears on the bank otherwise the payout would fail 😞 I really don't know what to do. I reached out to airbnb help but they messaged me and said they would be off for two days. I find it strange as most Thai surnames are usually long, so there must be a way to set up payout account without this limit?
I've attached the image below.
Thank youuuuu !!!

Reach out again, it's very common for CS staff to say "i'm going to be away for a few days". Don't wait for them, try a new person. @Yung165
