Also @Hillery3 and @Helen3 Helen3 I'm not sure what data you want but AirDNA offers free access to explore all short-term rental markets around the globe. To get further data insight, you would need to subscribe to either our Pro, or Advanced plans, which are annual subscription products.

I went through ( FREE) Google >AirBnB>my town> dates as some STR's require it and then see what is out there near me. Just 2 years ago I had less than 10 others now there are over 40 STRs within 10 miles of mine. With that in mind your introduction abut what make you place unique is very important when building your site. As Helen said the market is getting saturated.
