Hi,

Im new to this but noticed some confusing navigation within AirBnb.

First of all in Manage quick replies > ...common to all

Whe cant I see my current message. Aii I can see is a empty template??

Manage quick replies >Checkout instructions
Same as above but this one has a "paperclip"  or a link.

       a. Are we supposed to know that its linked to our current message?  ... molst likely

       b. Why is it a dead link? why doesnt it take me to my "Checkout instructions" ?   would that make sense?

Same with others like when you click in the "Insert" istruction given forexample for the WiFi is confusing. it says "it will insert name of the WiFi network". .. well its mind boggling to find where the WiFi network input.

Is there anyone can explain please?

Hi @Faruk38

You have to create Quick Replies and Scheduled Messages. Once created, you can then use them to send messages to guests using the short codes. Of course, you can always manually reply to guests, but quick replies and scheduled messages save you alot of time. Most hosts send Check-in, Check-out Instructions via Scheduled Messages. Quick Replies are for commonly asked questions from Guests. Many Hosts use a quick reply after a guest books to Welcome them and confirm their reservation information.

All the "short code" information in Quick Replies and Scheduled Messages is populated from your listing. Therefore, it's important your listing is totally complete in order to use the short codes properly in your messages. Here is an Airbnb Help Article that explains how to create and edit guest messages:

How Do I Create and Send Quick Replies to Guests

Wifi Details

Found under Info For Guests on the Listing Page. Enter the info there and when you create a quick reply using the Wifi Details short code, it will properly populate.

Check-Out Instructions

Found under Info for Guests on the Listing Page. Enter your checkout info there and when you create a quick reply using the Check-Out link message, it links your checkout "card" instructions to the message. Add any additional details you would like to the message. Most hosts create a Scheduled check-out message the day before checkout, some send the morning of checkout.
