They both did a simulation and searched all homes in SF and could not locate it only when I gave them the address they were able to see it, what is that all about?
I also could not find your listing offered. I can't see any reason and I looked on all pages for any of your photos nothing. I would contact Airbnb Support.
Hi @Yvette213
I found your listing around the middle of Page 2 when I searched for Santa Fe, 4 guests. I used 20 April as one of your available nights when searching.
Your reviews and cancellation policy are working strongly in your favour. If you want to go from Page 2 to Page 1, it's the price holding you back.
If there are specific dates (for example nearby ones) that you want to get booked, run a custom promotion and check your ranking in private mode for those specific dates.

You are in Stellenboch my most favorite wines and stay, I have to go back to SA, stayed with CC Africa
Thank you for your help
How do you check Ranking in private mode?
Just a question, because I don't understand. You searched for 4 and found her listing, I searched for 2 Guests because she said couple and I don't see it? I should though.
Yes @Marie8425 I usually search at the maximum occupancy to see the best rank. Most listings can sleep at least 2 guests, so when searching for 2, one pretty much includes every available listing in the area (except the handful that sleep just one guest). Also, I get the impression that the algorithm seems to favour max-2-guest listings in 2-guest searches (probably because that's almost the only way they can get booked).
If that's how the other people searched as well, you may have pinpointed why they couldn't find it Marie, and that will be useful to @Yvette213
Yvette I see you price per person - in case the idea is to rank better for 2 guests, you should check how your 2-person price compares to other listings (it's possible that you may need to lower it quite a bit to rank well for 2, so just check the movement in private mode to decide whether you want to do that).
Thank you what do you mean I price per guest???????????????????, yikes
Exactly
Great to hear, yes you should definitely visit again @Yvette213 !
The way you activate private/secret/incognito browsing mode depends on the browser. In Edge you have to go to the 3 dots (top right) and open a private tab:
Alternatively you can go to a different browser where you're not logged in - the idea is just to block Airbnb from "knowing" anything about you or your search history in that moment.
If you search while logged in, it'll show your own listing near the top. That's very useful if you just quickly want to check whether nights you unblocked or restrictions you eased were correctly done, but it doesn't help at all to check how others see you in search results.
Just a thought, you should post these directions maybe on the Host Board. I see this question so often, and many newer Hosts not realizing they should do it.
Airbnb does not rule a listing duplicate if a different packaging of the same listing. You link calendars to prevent double Booking. One ad highlighting for 4 and a separate listing highlighting for a couple. Other Hosts that do it that way actually lock off the second bedroom when only a couple request.
Thank you I am renting the whole house, 2 bdrms, I am going to try private
