New in Hosting: Looking for Tips to Boost Bookings in a Saturated Market
I recently opened my 2-bedroom holiday home in Ubud, Bali, and as a first-time host, I’m finding it challenging to attract bookings. Bali’s market is saturated, especially with so many professional hosting companies, and I launched during the low season. I've tried adjusting pricing but haven’t seen much change.
Here's my listing: https://www.airbnb.com/h/tambohouseubud
I’ve tried experimenting with pricing adjustments, but I’d love any advice on other ways to improve my listing’s appeal or add value to help attract bookings. For those who’ve navigated this kind of market, what’s worked for you?
Any tips or feedback would be hugely appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!

Hi @Cokorda-Gede0 😊,
Welcome to the Community Center!
I understand your situation, market saturation is a very common problem.
I’m mentioning hosts from Indonesia to see if they have any good advice regarding your concerns: @Tara820, @Omahomy0, @Noora15 and @Jose285.
In addition, you could connect with hosts from your area through our Local Host Clubs and ask them.
Thank you in advance, everyone!
Warm regards 🌻,
