Price and description and service

Hello,

I’m completely new to this field—I just started a month ago and have already accepted two bookings, one for 35 nights and another for 85 nights.

My main concern is what kind of services or amenities I should provide for mid- to long-term stays (1-3 months or even up to 5 months) to keep costs low while ensuring good reviews and working toward becoming a Superhost.

Currently, I’m not charging very high rates. For mid- or long-term stays, what’s a reasonable rate to charge while remaining competitive?

I’d appreciate any advice or tips from experienced hosts! Thank you!

Hi @Ehzad20

Hosts normally provide a starter pack of toiletries, cleaning products and whatever kitchen goods you normally include and then guests are expected to top them up themselves.

Some hosts cost in regular cleans.

You would need to decide what discounts to include for longer stays which would enable you to make the profit you need. Have you looked at what hosts in your area with similar properties are charging for longer stays?

Thanks, Helen. I am looking forward to it soon. Also, do you mind advising whether I should mention in my listing that I provide only a welcome kit and that the rest of the guest responsibilities are up to them? I just don’t want to sound rude or offensive."

I think it’s totally fine to mention that you provide a welcome kit and that guests will need to handle other responsibilities themselves. The key is in how you phrase it—keeping it warm and positive.

 you could say something like

“We’re happy to provide a thoughtful welcome kit to help you settle in, and the rest of your stay is designed to give you full independence to enjoy the space your way!”

This way, it sets expectations clearly without sounding harsh or uninviting. Guests will appreciate knowing what’s included upfront, and the friendly tone makes it feel less formal.

Hope that helps! 😊 Let me know if you want help fine-tuning the wording.

Thank you so much waheed . i truly appreciate . Do you mind can you please message me so that i can ask some little more query ?
