A competing listing (a hotel) is requiring payment of an "amenity fee" at check-in. As a result my listing is at a disadvantage in the "Total price before taxes" map. This amenity fee is not for any optional product, just a fee required for the booking. Are we allowed to do this?
I have flagged the listing to airbnb, but the listing still remains. It would be great, cuz I could undercut my competition and my guest would pay less airbnb fees and taxes. Thoughts?
@Paul154 This seems to be a second example whereby some hosts are getting around Airbnb fees by nefarious means. The other recent example was a host charging $10/night and then $300/night in taxes! @Bhumika has passed the tax example back to Airbnb - Perhaps you could message her with the URL of this host and ask her to pass this one on as well.
