Selling home and new owner wants to honor the booking

I will be closing on my home later this week.  We have an existing booking that had booked out 4 month in advance.  The new owner plans to AirBNB the home and wants to honor it.  What is the best way to handle it?  Does AirBNB get involved to transfer the money?  Just trying to let the new owner know what they need to do.  Thanks in advance for any assistance.

@Terri418 get the new owner to create an Airbnb listing. Then, having agreed a mutual cancellation with the guest get them to ask Airbnb to cancel penalty free and then the guest books with the new owner.

Thank you!  I guess the new owner would need to use the same price and terms so that they get the same cost for this existing booking?

Yes of course the new owner should honour your terms but they are under no obligation . @Terri418 

Nor is the guest obliged to transfer their booking to the new owner. 

Also Airbnb may not agree to transfer the booking as they expect you to block your calendar out when you are selling your place so you don't accept booking you can't honour .

in which case you would be liable for cancellation fees.
