Hello,
Questions regarding "Lisiting not appearning in Search Results" are very common and I'd like to share some reasons why this could be happening and how you can view your listing on searching.
Before getting to the details, it is important to understand how search results are determined. The linked article talks about how Airbnb's complex ranking system uses different factors to reward hosts that deliver a great experience to guests. Focus on these factors to optimize your listing.
Let's understand why you might not be able to see your listing in the Search Results:
1) Your location might have more than 300 listings. For ease of display, Airbnb only displays 300 listings at a time and thus some listings, beyond 300, might not appear during a general location search without any filters.
However, if you make use of the multiple search filters that Airbnb has to offer (like Dates, No. of Guests, Room type, Price Range etc.) then you can perform a more specific and narrowed down search which might reduce the search results and your listing will then show up if it matches the filter criteria.
*Please note that, most guests make use of the filters while searching for a vacation home.
2) You can also make use of the map by zooming in closer to your location if your looking at a very large area. Use the '+' button to zoom in and '-' to zoom out. Reducing the area will further reduce the results and you will be able to see your listing. Don't forget to click on the "Redo Search Here" button on the top.
If your listing still continues to not appears,
3) Check if it is "Listed" and not in the "Delisted" mode. To do this, visit your Dashboard >> Your Lisitng >> Manage Listing and Calendar. Expand the Menu options by clicking on the grey icon with 3 horizontal bars on the left top. Look up at the bottom of the Menu that emerges to see if your listing is active. It should appear as "Listed" with a green dot. If it doesn't click on the drop down menu and change it to listed.
4) Still can't see it? Ask the Community to see if any of the members are able to see it on searching with relevant filters.
4) Yet no luck? Please get in touch with Airbnb and they shall definitely resolve your problem.
Happy Hosting 🙂

Updated - additional information added:
For hosts searching for your Instant Book listing, @Clare0 has created a great guide here in the Community Center sharing an overview of how this works. To view her guide take a look here.
Here you go, @John-DeluxeReservation0! I searched for November 18 -19 and this listing was on page 2.
Cheers! Clare
Thanks a mil Clare ! Not working on mine, not sure why but at least you found it 😉 All'Best !
Could somone help to see if they can view my listing, please? I have had more demand than I can have stay then suddenly nothing. Now I cannot find my listing no matter what filters I use.
List ID: 6056821
If my listing is at the back of the list, fine, but not to show up at all?? It does not even show when I go to the street my place is on, why not?
I have already read all the posts about how Airbnb's algorithm works.
Thanks
Thomas
I'm having the same problem. I've tried everything. I even tried what others have suggested and snoozed the listing for an hour. This didn't work
I would love to know the reason for this happening. Any other fixes people can suggest?
My listing is here: https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/14454165
It doesn't come up in any searches or map searches.
If I search for 'Lake Macquarie, NSW' then search by price range to filter for properties around your listing's price I get the message 'No Results' so your listing definitely has a problem.
Even if your listing shows up when some other combination of filters is given, the fact that it does not show up EVERY time when I search for 1) location and 2) price range means that there is a bug / problem in their alogrithm.
@Thomas220. Any listing will show up if you put in the exact name or number, the issue is the search and it is buggy for everyone on this thread.
@Thomas220 I see what you mean. I looked up your listing and when I put in dates that reflect your minimum stay requirement, the monthly discount (20%) did not apply which is odd. I would go to your price settings and make sure the discount is set correctly...perhaps change it to another number and then back again to trigger an update.
If that doesn't solved the problem, then I'd contact Airbnb...preferably through twitter for a faster response.
Thank you for your help to check. The discount / pricing is a separate issue that does not always seem to work when tenants search and book. When searching around my area and changing different search filters there are many properties which are listed multiple times whereas mine does not come up once in all the searches and not once in 17 pages of listings.
I have tried the 'snooze for one day' trick and that did not work either.
It concerns me that Airbnb is not listening to hosts and trying to help with these problems. I think the reply on this thread from the administrator directing people to view @Jeet0 post on improving where your listing stands in the rankings is unhelpful. There are obviously issues with how the listings are not showing to viewers given the number of hosts with issues and this issue has been going on for many months as this community conversation and others like it show.
It also concerns me that there is no easy way to get help - I have to message them on twitter to get their attention?? I have a property to let out in the meantime! I have no other choice but to use a competitor site.
@Thomas220@Jeet0. The only way to get help would be to post these comments on Facebook and Twitter. If this doesnt work, try sending them to the cEO in San Francisco. If someone is more computer savvy than I take all the best comments, paste them into an email to the ceo and a complaint on Facebook. Either this is a very bad computer glitch or it is something done on purpose for some unfathomable thinking on the part of Abnb.
I would bet that we are just the tip of an iceberg. There are multiple posts on this problem on airhostsfoum.com...an independent Abnb hosthatroom .
Hi all. I know this question have been up several times, but I do still have some issues with mine. My new listing in Copenhagen show up when I search personally from my own account. However, when using others - and having other people to search for it - it do not show up, although their search preferences are matching everything.
Can you please look my listing up? As said, it will work if you have an exact link to my listing - but not if you are searching as normal.
I have been having the same issue. We have 5 different properties, all but our own home keeps on dissapearing from results. I have tried to create another account, made new listings and all keep disapearing and Airbnb does nothing to help, they wont even admit of an issue. Here is the link https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2221674 its on instant book, Thankgiving 24-27 is wide open yet in no search will it come up. And here is a brand new one i created and still does not show up https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16070863

if everyone following this thread would "like" the original post, this woll bring this to the attention of the moderater @Lizzie who will pass it to the authorities.
Further, go on Abnb Facebook and paster your comment or concern. This frequently brings results quickly.
Well I contacted FB and they told me to contact them via Twitter. Now waiting for someone to come back to me.
@Lizzie. Well Lizzie,
none of this explains why in five searches using filters and map search do not pull up my listing until I actually zoomed in on my block. There were other similar listings missing from my immediate area...their calendars showed as available. From being booked fairly solid, I have had nothing for almost 2 months. My reviews are 5 star and my proximity to Vanderbilt University has been responsible for about 30% of my bookings.
and there are not 300 available places in my immediate area.
Hello @Amy38,
Thanks for mentioning me in this. There does appear to be quite a few other hosts reporting having a similar issue to you here in the Community Center, which is being described as something seperate to how Airbnb's search normally works (as described in this Community Guide). I am not sure if you have seen the post, but I have replied to it here. I am trying to find out more information, but please do keep me up-to-date on this in that thread.
Thanks,
Lizzie
