thanks for the advice. hot tub would be amazing although it is not feasible with the rainwater as we are fully off grid😉 @Andrea6232

Aloha originally from Kaneohe.  Beautiful.  Especially the bedroom and bathroom in a tree house you did amazing.

My suggestions:

A microwave people on vacation want to be lazy sometimes  Haha.

Show pictures of a grill area my tree house mind set is BBQ dinner 

Speak about Wi-Fi access  If they can use their cell provider just explain in general how so people are aware there is an option.

Do a Guidebook specifically about the volcano.  Internet search engines will show Airbnb Listings Because Airbnb website has a good audience.  For them to show you they have to pick up keywords and volcano lodging is a sought after item.

The best advertising vehicle in Hawaii is locals.  They truly appreciated what you accomplished.  And as you know anybody from the mainland vacationing in Hawaii that talked to you once 10 years ago will call you for recommendations of where to stay and what to see.

If like weekdays are slow because weekends are popular try a  kamaaina discount  for the slow days.  Again highlight in a guidebook maybe discussing other  kamaaina discount  so the keyword for search engines.

Two more random thoughts

Listing category  a treehouse is usually Other not Room  that might be effecting you receiving the right audience.

I know one review mentioned slippery when et, I have balance issues, so I found works really good for me , was those silly stick on flowers that you can use to prevent slippery showers.   I bought on Amazon and the reviews were right has worked excellent.

@Markus663 I just looked at your listing and it looks fine except for your booking schedule is not anything convenient it's like a weak open one month and then one day on a Wednesday of the same month is available and then one day the next week like no one's trying to stay somewhere for just one night especially if they're coming to Hawaii they're trying to be there for at least 2 or 3 days and or longer
