Plaga de chinches

Ultimamente he recibido muchos huepedes con chinches y me ha sigo muy complicado tener mi espacio libre de estos animalitos ya que aunque constantemente los elimino vuelven a aparecer con nuevos huespedes y en los ultimos meses se ha convertido en un problema, quisiera saber si de alguna solución, me gustaria saber cualquier ayuda que pudieran compartir conmigo, si Airbnb puede ayudar a solucionar este problema de forma permanente o por lo menos controlada, Muchas gracias.

Si pero me refiero a crear una guia con recomendaciónes por parte de Airbnb o entre los mismos anfitriones que sepamos controlar este problema, ya he solicitado servicios de exterminio pero no confío al 100 por ciento en estas empresas y tambien son muy caras, creo que serviria más prevenir y tener algun metodo que mantenga el espacio libre de estas plagas.

Pues, los basicos para evitar chinches:

- Protectores de colchón y fundas de almohada anti-chinches

- Nada de madera en la habitacion  (muebles, suelos, puertas, etc)

- Mínimo de textiles (Si quieres un sillon que sea de cuero o polipiel, no compres almogadas decorativas de tela, etc).

- Base metalica para cama

- Evitar grietas en las paredes, daños en muebles (agujeros, donde pueden esconderse), aperturas abajo de las puertas, etc.

- Si el huésped tiene rastros de picaduras en su piel, hay que ofrecerle lavado de ropa gratis y limpieza de su maleta/mochila

- Si hay rastros de chinches en la ropa de cama, también hay que tomar medidas preventivas (aunque ya es un mal asunto)

- Etc. 

He mirado fotos de tus alojamientos, basicamente tienes un paraíso y un ambiente favorable para estos insectos (suelos y muebles antiguos de madera con muchos agujeros).

@Claudiu-Nicolae0 what are the odds that every guest brings bed bugs? I would say they are not exterminated properly that is why they always reapear. I have been hosting for 3 years and we have never had bed bugs, odds are that we will have them eventualy but after each guest? I dont think so.

He hospedado por 3 años tambien y nunca habia tenido este problema pero ultimamente el problema ha aparecido en diferentes habitaciones en diferentes momentos, obviamente he sacado de publicacion cuando ha surgido el problema, pero si tu no has tenido ese problema hasta ahora no creo que puedas ayudar en nada ni entender el problema

@Iker-and-Riko0  Another host mentioned in another thread that they were completely successful in eliminating bed bugs from their listing using diatomateous earth. She said you have to wear a mask and gloves (It's not toxic, but ground up shells of marine animals, the microscopic shards are sharp and cut up the exoskeletons of the bugs, dangerous for humans to breathe in).

She said they were diligent, getting it in every crack and crevice, baseboards, furniture, carpets, all. And it worked. And of course their listing was paused until they were sure the bugs were completely eliminated.

Lo peor es no solo que te infecto la casa, sio no que si pone comentarios no te entrará ninguna reserva. Creo que airbnb cuando cancelan no debería dejarles poner comentarios y sobre todo si mandas el certificado de desinfeccion. No solo te causan ellos la plaga, si no que encima te van a perjudicar por meses.

@Iker-and-Riko0 , hace un tiempo, unos huespedes se quejaron que habían sido picados por chinches.  pidieron la devolución del dinero, lo raro, que después de la 3era noche, recién me dicen que fueron picados por los bichos y, sospechosamente, la única foto, donde aparecía el chinche, no coincidía con la habitación.  Se comunicaron conmigo, pudieron en duda mi palabra con la de ellos, y me solicitaron un informe de una empresa de fumigacion. Si el informe era positivo,  tenia que estar el cuarentena el apartamento por 20 días. Por suerte el informe dio negativo.  Lo mas probable que ellos mismo tienen chinches en sus pertenencia y se los llevaron con ellos.  Airbnb debería tener un seguro para los anfitriones por cosas así, porque esos bichos los traen los mismos huéspedes, y después se quejan que en el apartamento fueron picados.
