My Thai wife Orny and I, Jean-Pierre (JP) her French-European born husband, we have been running our homestay holiday villa family business during last 7 successive years and we tried all sorts of advertising ways in order to promote as best as we could our establishment : we sincerely admit that by now forming part of an AirBnB International Host Community really gives us the sensation that we feel 100 times much more confident to run this activity !
It is like ..as if "a dream comes true !" in the sense that after so many years in this activity, we "finally" receive a simple thing in business life = "Consideration and Partnership" thanks to AirBnB ! Sincere congratulations to you guys !
After being totally neglected by so many advertising booking organizations such as (to name a few) Abritel, Homelidays, Homeaway, Booking.com, etc . for which we were only "a stupid, neutral, unknown impersonal file number in the middle of nowhere on the planet" we have finally CANCELLED our collaboration (and will never come back to them) with these impersonal only money making booking companies, which only sake is to get your subscription money one time per year and which then DO NOT CARE AT ALL (!!!) WHATSOEVER where the hosts receive, or not, any booking !
Great mistake from them ! A Host is not a "hotel nor a guest-house cashier !" = A host is a human being whose main care and reason to exist is to bring HUMAN CARE to his guests, in order to let him appreciate the authentic way of living of the country, city, region where he lives, ...a matter which is the main sake of the guest coming to stay at the host's place, ...not just to sleep a few hours and run away the following morning !
Reason why we decided to only keep AirBnB as our main and only booking partner in order to help us run our holiday villa, regardless the number of bookings we receive per week, per month or per year !
We tested AirBnB during last 12 months and sincerely admit that ALL went more than fine with you guys ! = Relations with the guests, payments of the fees perfectly received via bank transfer onto our bank account, follow up with comments required by AirBnB after the guest has stayed at our place , Forums, etc ..
What a GREAT PROFESSIONALISM from your part and ..bye bye forever (and no regrets) to Homeaway, Booking.com etc + WELCOME TO OUR LONG AND FRUITFUL "PERSONAL & HUMAN" relation with AirBnB organization and AirBnB guests coming to stay at our place.
