Airbnb agent delivers the key to the apartment?

Hello, I am looking for an apartment that I need for a long time in Sweden in Gothenburg. I found an ad (not on Airbnb) and the lady who allegedly rents out the apartment wrote me that she does not live in the country but has a contract with airbnb and that I will meet with her agent who is from airbnb and who will give me the keys to the apartment . Through that agent, I would pay the deposit and complete the contract. Does it work that way or is it a scam? Thanks in advance Edisa

This is hers mail: 

As I told you in my first email, I moved permanently from the country so I will not be able to come personally to take care of this rental.

The meeting will take place in the apartment with my agent and he will give you the keys.

I have a contract made with Airbnb to handle the collection of the deposit and the appointments for visits.

The lease will be handed over by the Airbnb agent but will be concluded between the two of us. A copy will remain with you and one will be sent to me by my agent.

It's a well known scam, hands off!

There are no Airbnb agents. Communicate and book via the platform only.
