I have been hosting through Airbnb for years, am a Superhost for 13 times in a row, and have just realized, by chance, that Airbnb "specialist" has cancelled an upcoming long term reservation without even bothering to send a message to me, as a host.
I am really angry about that, not because the reservation is cancelled (it is only one in the row since the COVID situation has started) but because of Airbnb's lack of professionalism and decency. Yes, this crisis has hit us all hard, we have lost all the planned income for the previous months while the expenses are pilling up, but that doesn't allow anyone, let alone a company like Airbnb, to act so disrespectfully to the people who have been generating hefty income for them for years.
And, on top of everything, there is no option whatsoever to direct this complaint straight to them since all the contact options have disappeared from the website and this community is the only place where I can share my problem. I am deeply upset by this sincerely hope that some of their "specialists" are reading these messages and that they will have a decency to contact me directly.
