Airbnb's Review Policy

I hosted 4 young male guests in last February (Carnival period in Brazil) and during the hosting I've noticed the presence of girls in the apartment, by passing in the street by the apartment balcony. I've called the guest and asked him how many people where there in the apartment and the guest answered 10, and informed me that they were throwing a birthday party to one of the guests. I've reminded him about the house rules about prohibition of throwing parties. The following early morning I saw four girls leaving the apartment, meaning these girls have slept in the apartment, against all rules. I immediately communicated Airbnb, which canceled the reservation for security reasons, and I've filed a Police note about the fact. Surprisingly Airbnb allowed the guest to make a review about his stay. Of course the review was revengeful and biased and the guest gave a rate 1. Airbnb refused to cancel the review. In the end, a guest behave badly, and the host was punished.

"Additionally, reviews may be removed from the platform for stays where a significant violation of the Party and Events Policy has taken place. This is to help hosts feel more comfortable intervening when a disruptive party takes place, without having to fear a biased review as a result."

@Sylvio5 contact Airbnb again and remind them about the review policy with respect to parties that DOES allow a review to be removed. I am sure @Emiel1 will find the link to the policy so you can quote it to them.
