Airbnb will not let me use superhost coupon

I made a reservation using my superhost coupon but had to cancel.  Now they tell me I cant use the coupon?!   

Sure I suppose this “rule” is somewhere in the millions of bytes of info on this website but it sure is unfair. 

Please advise if you know of any way to get my coupon back.

The "rule" is not that hidden in million bytes, but clearly mentioned in the HELP and in the terms,

When you cancel, the coupon is not refunded / restored.
