Blocked Dates not functioning

Hi all,

 

Anyone experience block dates not functioning? I have pre approved a guest and specifically block the dates for the guest. Another guest manage to block part of the specific dates that I have blocked. Not sure if it is a function issue as the calendar did not show the dates are blocked after I have blocked it.

@Hasita0Was the dates that the other guest was able to book at the begging or end of your blocked period, or was it in the middle? Remember that if you block a date for booking, guests can still check out on that date. 

 

However, if you get an instant booking for dates that should have been blocked in your calendar, just call Airbnb and have them cancel the booking penalty-free. You can report the issue of the dates not being blocked at the same time.

The booking happens at the beginning of the blocked period (Guest A, 25-9 and Guest B, 14-28). 

Interesting to note that the guest still are able to check out on the blocked dates. Shouldn’t the calendar system prevents that?

@Hasita0Yes, definitely something very wrong there, then. That's a significant overlap.
