Customer Service Fail @customerservice

All the support, help and refunds that were promised to me by support and it's all lies. They have not executed their promises and I'm stuck in a filthy apartment with no help. Even though they have a uncleanliness policy that guarantees a refund.

I can. 

I rented a unit in NYC and when I arrived it was very clear that the pictures on the listing did not represent the actual unit. It's FILTHY! 

 

I tried multiple times to connect with Airbnb CS, which lead me down an 8 hour rabbit hole of calls and being on hold and being transferred from one rep to another (total of 15 different reps) all saying they would be the only one from this point forward helping till resolved. My last call I had them put in writing in my thread that the host had 24 hours to give me repair time frames, and initiate repairs within 48 hours or I would be released from my obligation and refunded. 

 

Total LIE!

 

Since that commitment I've had 3 additional rep transfers and still no resolution to the disgusting place that I'm stuck in. 

 

They will not help me. 

They will not stick to their word.

They will not refund me.

 

So basically, "you booked it, you're stuck with it, we don't give a crap."

 

I used to be a host. A super host as a matter of fact. Can't believe they would treat any one of my guests like this. It sickens me.

Horrible. I will never book or list with these guys again and I can tell you that this is a prime market for some serious competition. I hope someone comes in and takes their business from them.
