my name is Maria Ripepi and I am a fourth-year student at Edinburgh Napier University, studying International Hospitality Management with Tourism.
To conclude my academic path, I am undertaking a research on a subject of interest related to my studies. The purpose is to research whether Airbnb could potentially improve its socio-economic impact through initiatives such as Edinburgh Experience. Many locals, especially in Edinburgh, complain about Airbnb. Therefore, I aim to explore whether the partnership VisitScotland held with Airbnb is a way forward to create a truly positive impact. For this reason, I am would be delighted if I could interview someone who is involved in this collaboration to further discuss this initiative.
