Dead messages won’t archive

I have messages in my iOS app that simply won’t go away no matter how many times I archive them. Both are from dead accounts (one was a scam and the other from a banned guest who had a party). I hate seeing the reminder every time I open the app of the guest who trashed my place and Airbnb did nothing to help me. Is this just the lack of iOS developer support?  They are gone when I go to Airbnb from my desktop it’s only on my iPhone that these messages won’t go away. This has been ongoing for more than 6 months.

I actually fixed this by deleting the app and reinstalling it. Shouldn’t have to do this but at least I don’t have to look at those messages anymore.
