Do NOT want entire house in search results

I am trying to find stays that are in a house without the search results including ENTIRE house as an option. Even though i do not have "entire house" selected, they still show up in my search results.

What happens when you filter for "Private Room"

@Emilia42    I've found in several searches I've done lately that the filters don't stick. I've gotten mostly Entire Home and Hotel Room listings in searches for Private Rooms only. I've gotten No Pets properties in searches for "Pets Allowed," and so forth. This is probably by design, because users will quickly move on to another platform if their search generates too few results.

@Paula1486   If that filter is also not working for you, the next best thing would be the Price slider, as Private or Shared Room listings tend to run well below market rate for Entire Homes.

my guess is that the programmers think that if you're ok with sharing, you're also ok with being alone (where the inverse isn't necessarily true). Just like if you ask for a 2b, you wouldn't be opposed to a 3b... therefore @Anonymous suggestion may help. Or you may just find that with ABB, filtering thru a bunch of stuff you don't actually want is all part of the process
