I utilize a Hollywood Theme.
Hello @Bill1723 👋
Hollywood theme...what does that include? When I think of 'Hollywood' I think of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, movies and sunshine! Feel free to share some photos of your space here!
Hi @Rebecca
My listing is located in a popular seaside area. I have minimal seaside decor in my listing.
I think themes are great. Only my opinion but maybe not go overboard with the theme decor in your property as it may detract visitors not heavily into that particular theme. And depends what theme of course.
cheers!!!
Hello @Rosanna51 👋
Thank you so much for sharing about your listing! I live near the sea and the only seaside decor I have in my home is a couple of shells and jars of sea glass that I collected from the beach. 🐚
Feel free to share your favourite photo of your listing here 🌊🏖

Here are some of the best tips for Airbnb hosts to elevate their hosting game:
1. Create a Standout Listing
• Professional Photos: Invest in high-quality photos to showcase your property’s best features. Natural lighting and clean, decluttered spaces make a huge difference.
• Clear, Detailed Description: Be specific about your property’s amenities, location, and unique aspects. Highlight features like a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, or proximity to popular spots.
• Title That Pops: Use keywords to make your title enticing, e.g., “Cozy Mountain Cabin with Hot Tub and Scenic Views.”
2. Prioritize Cleanliness
• Cleanliness is one of the top factors for guest satisfaction. Hire a professional cleaner if necessary and ensure every corner is spotless. Don’t forget areas like inside drawers, under furniture, and windows.
3. Provide Thoughtful Amenities
• Basics: Stock the essentials (toilet paper, towels, coffee/tea, shampoo, soap).
• Extras: Offer small touches like snacks, local guidebooks, or a welcome basket.
• Tech-Friendly: Ensure strong Wi-Fi, provide a charging station, and consider streaming services.
4. Focus on Guest Experience
• Personal Touches: Leave a handwritten welcome note or a guide with insider tips for the area.
• Quick Responses: Be responsive to messages—guests appreciate quick and clear communication.
• Flexibility: Offer early check-in or late check-out when possible.
5. Price Competitively
• Research similar listings in your area and set a competitive price. Adjust for seasonality and demand to maximize bookings.
• Consider offering discounts for longer stays or last-minute bookings.
6. Perfect Your Check-In/Out Process
• Hassle-Free Entry: Use smart locks or a lockbox for seamless check-ins.

I just have my own art up. I haven't really added much specifically for guests. It's as homey as can be. I live here when it isn't up on Airbnb.
The important thing, in my experience has been, to have enough space for the guests for their belongings and luggage and shopping etc. I don't think know if decor matters too much. Having a practical space is much better.
I once had guests, who moved all my plants from every room and placed them in one corner. I, obviously didn't appreciate it but they had a ton of luggage and things.
Not sure if this helps.
My rentals in upstate New York embrace the region's diverse mix of architectural styles. I encourage homeowners to align their décor with the home’s unique character while keeping it timeless and inviting.
The home featured in these photos is particularly special to me—it’s one that I own and rent, not just manage. This house is my childhood home, which I bought from my parents and lovingly renovated myself. For its design, I leaned into minimalist mid-century modern aesthetics, taking the opportunity to infuse it with personal touches that reflect the time I grew up here and the influences of my upbringing.
One cherished detail I was able to preserve is a wall of vibrant hot pink and orange animal-print wallpaper, a nostalgic piece of the home’s history. Inspired by that playful energy, I decorated the bedrooms with bold, patterned wallpapers, creating a sense of whimsy and character. In contrast, the common areas are kept neutral with pops of color for a balanced, welcoming atmosphere. This blend of bold and understated design captures the spirit of the home and its story. My guest manual includes a section on the history of the home, highlighting how its story is reflected in the décor.
Whether you decide to theme your space or go for a more versatile aesthetic, it's crucial to design an environment where guests can easily imagine themselves and feel a sense of comfort and belonging.
