Fees adjusted after booking in response to popularity.
My friend and I are planning to be in Glasgow for COP 26 this year as it is such an incredibly important environmental event we wanted to take our children we bookeda place back in February because we knew it would get VERY busy as the year goes on. We've now recieved notification that the fees have been changed. Almost double the original fee that we had booked the flat for. Whilst understandable, is it legit that the owner can do this? It feels unfair. Thanks in advance for your advice.
The host is not allowed to change the price after the booking is confirmed, just for wanting more money. The host can cancel the reservation, but will receive penalties from Airbnb, like dates are blocked for new reservation (but only on Airbnb.....)
