As we bid farewell to summer this month and enjoy the beautiful sunshine many of us are experiencing, I thought it would be fun to create an ABC game!

For each letter of the alphabet, name a word related to the theme of summer. If someone has already suggested a letter you were thinking of, feel free to add your word as a comment below their suggestion. Let’s see how far we can get—aiming for Z and beyond if you’re up for it!

Barbecues are one of my all-time favorite activities! When I lived in Colombia, my family and I used to have at least two barbecues per month. Thanks to the great weather there, we could enjoy them year-round. 😊

Do you often have barbecues? Maybe during the summer at the beach?

@Paula I host near Lake Granger.  It's well known for fishing.  Also, not far from Lake Travis.  It's a party lake!  Great to watch July 4th fireworks over the water.  🙂

Hey Elisa!

Around 50% of our guests are locals soaking in the fun, and the other half are adventurers from outside the area. Believe it or not, 15% of them come just to try waterbiking for the very first time! 🌊🚴‍♀️

The furthest someone has traveled? Tunis, Tunisia—that’s 6,461 miles away and a 12-hour flight from San Francisco! ✈️ 🌍 My guest told me she had to save up for an entire year because of the currency conversion, but she made it here just to ride the waves with us. Now that’s dedication! 🙌
