Has anyone else had this experience
My guest allowed her dogs to mess the carpet in 3 places, staining the carpet that was only a month old. Another guest alerted me to the issue and after a few exchanges on text where she denied it had happened I asked her to leave. Because I was away without signal I couldn't access the Airbnb site so I did not research the issue.
As a result she left voluntarily and cancelled the booking herself. Airbnb now say they want £80 cancellation fee off me so I have this penalty and £500 of damage.
Has anyone managed to get payout from airbnb insurance?
