HOA stopped our Airbnb

So sadden we received a cease and desist letter from our HOA's attorney after several months of hosting an Airbnb.  Apparently we were not aware that leasing for short term lease was not allowed.  Only for 30 days and above lease is allowed.  They gave us 10 days to stop and therefore we had to cancel all of our upcoming and summer reservations.  Our Airbnb seemed pretty successful we reached superhost and guest favorite with a perfect 5 star all the way.   Guests loved our pool and our home.  Now we are selling our home and all the 20 to 30 some blankets and towels and everything we invested in it.  If anyone is interested in buying the homes essentials, furniture or the whole house.  Just e-mail me at **

It's a shame you didn't check your lease conditions before you decided to take short term bookings .

could you not take one month bookings going forward .
