Hi I dont understand the "instant booking" pre booking message.

At the top Airbnb says guest has to "respond to a message before they confirm their reservation"

At the bottom Airbnb says "Guests will receive this message once they book"

Do "Guests" get the "pre booking message" before or after they have a confirmed booking. Theoretically it should be before as its a PRE booking message not a POST booking message.

It is a message that the guest will have to read before booking.

 

For example, my message goes like this: "Atention please, check to see if you have put the right number of guests."

 

It is not necessary to write any house rule in that space because the guests has already to agree with the house rules.

Yes, The guests see the "pre booking message" before booking confirmation.

@J-Renato0  Did you read the thread I linked to above? In it, hosts who have recently been guests say there has been a change- they only got the pre-booking message after their booking was confirmed.

Hi J, yes I did read thread, hmmmmm! doesn't seem there is much point in pre booking message that is received after booking is confirmed. 😞
