Host’s response time

Hi hosts, I’m more or so a guest than a host but my father hosts on Airbnb. Recently I’ve had trouble with response rate from other hosts. Which I could see why—I’m under 21 and I don’t have a review on my page although I’ve stayed in Colorado before. Do hosts generally never respond to underage bookers? It’s a little frustrating considering I’m not irresponsible but I understand their vigilance since the stigma surrounding college students is negative. I’ve also heard of horror stories with college students. I just wish they would give a response back so I can look elsewhere.

You could turn on the Instant Book filter. At first. some listings may not show up when you do this, as some Instant Book listings are set to require a "good track record" (in other words, you'll need to get reviewed first). But once you're not so new anymore, you should find plenty of good options using the Instant Book filter.
