How long to reclaim damages?

Anyone have a general idea how long it takes for Airbnb to address damages caused by a guest?  I followed all the procedures as instructed by Airbnb and sent damages to guest first but knew he wouldn’t pay.  I then submitted the damages to Airbnb but have heard absolutely nothing back from them.  Our house was completely wrecked and also used for criminal activity but Airbnb are ghosting me!  Help!
