I am a superhost in LA and upset because my beloved housekeeper has to go back to El Salvador.

She has been legally living in this country for the past seven years. I'm not the only host going through this. ICE is out now, picking up law-abiding citizens and making them afraid of going to school and work.

Bookings are down at least 30 %, and I'm going to VRBO soon with other hosts because of Airbnb's support of Trump and his policies that are ripping our country apart.

It's a shame for us all.

@Lauren733

Thank you for sharing this. I hear the frustration and fear in your message, and I can only imagine how deeply this situation is affecting you, your guests, and your community.

As someone who works closely with hosts and guests from all walks of life, I believe hospitality should be about safety, dignity, and inclusion. Politics aside, when people feel unsafe, it impacts everything—including the trust that platforms like Airbnb were built on.

If there’s anything I can do to support you probably a guide or manage through these challenges, don’t hesitate to reach out. You're not alone in this.
