It's a repulsive, deceptive company

We arrived to a dilapidated apartment. Broken down, gang members partying loud and dealing drugs across the street. Dirty sheets we had to change, a dirty pair of green underwear fell out of the sheets while I tried to change them. Terrible, greedy host with a high rating named Jackie. Airbnb did NOTHING about it and canceled my chat before it was resolved. I could not understand the customer service reps, they sounded like they were speaking a different language.Horrifying service. I will never go through airbnb again.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Did Airbnb help you cancel the booking if the listing wasn't as described so you could find alternative accommodation? @Laila222 

what were the issues apart from the bedding not being clean (and did the host offer to come and change the bedding and clean)? 

What were previous reviews like at the listing.,

Did you not check the location you were looking to stay in before you went ahead with the booking?
