I have been a member of Airbnb for just over one week. The web site is complex and frustrating. I have received two bookings, both for periods when I am already fully booked!! I have checked the calendar and it clearly shows that I have no availability, how can this be?? There is no way to contact Airbnb to sort this out and it is further stress that I just don't need. I shall stick with Booking.com in the future, at least you can talk to them. I am cancelling my membership with immediate effect and demand that my profile is removed from the website at once. To say that I am disgusted and disappointed would be an understatement.
@Liz4334 This is a community forum so your demands will not be met. You have the ability to remove your listing yourself as, contrary to your post, the website is actually quite navigable.
I assume you didn't synchronise your calendar properly with booking.com hence the double bookings. It is just not possible for Airbnb to double book with another Airbnb guest.
@Liz4334 As @Mike-And-Jane0 said, you need to go to Listing Details -> Listing status and choose "edit" to snooze, unlist, or deactivate your listing.
While there you might go over to the Pricing and Availability tab and scroll down to Calendar sync. If you import another platform's calendar and sync it with your Airbnb account you won't get double bookings.
