Long Beach, CA new restrictions to STR's passed with NO PUBLIC HEARING OR NOTIFICATIONS

In the dark of Covid 19 Long Beach City Council in California USA has passed an ordinance with no public input or notification to AirBNB or any other short term rental partners. Ordinance-20-0024

The new policy does not allow STR's unless there is a host present; living on property.  They have also maxed the number of STR's a host can have to 3.
This was passed without notification to Hosts and no representation from AIRBNB or VRBO by 9 members of Long Beach City Council in June 2020

We need help from AirBNB to fight the City council in Long Beach, CA
Long Beach hosts need to reach out to their council members ASAP

Hello @Kelley3 , have you used related keywords here in the CC search box & reached out to other Hosts/ Guests in your location that way to also create an awareness?

Perhaps use that method & send them a standard template letter to encourage others to respond to Long Beach Council that way.

All the best
