New Booking Rule for Oregon

Have any other Oregon hosts learned about this through another source: https://abnb.co/bfghtf

I’m a bit disappointed with Airbnb that as an Oregon host I got no e-mail notice from them about this new change and only learned about it because of an article my son was reading in The Verge (https://www.theverge.com/2022/1/1/22862541/airbnb-oregon-hosts-guests-initials-discrimination-lawsui...).

Of course, I’m thoroughly disgusted with the hosts who perpetrate this kind of discrimination and caused Airbnb to have to take action.

@Anna11063  I'm not sure what is "new" about this. Airbnb hasn't shown a guest's full name when they send a request or inquiry for a long time, it seems. And Airbnb doesn't even give you a guest's real, full name after they book, either, unless the guest has themselves identified that way. They can call themselves Bozo and that's all the name a host gets.
