Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca  and @Elisa  and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new.

Hi, I was born and raised in Germany till I moved to Fort Lauderdale, USA. There I had my own Fitness company for more than 20 years. My husband got transferred to Jaco, Costa Rica in 2018 , so I moved with him and  put our 1 spacious bedroom condo on Airbnb. It was super booked the first year, but lately it's very slow. I got really good reviews and have been a Superhost. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Germany I visit every 2-3 years, but Florida is quite often as my husband still works and has his office in Fort Lauderdale.

Hi, this is Mizanur I born in Bangladesh and now residing in Malaysia more than 32 years. I am an ICT professionals but love travel and tourism industry. I am involved with Airbnb since 2016 and hosted more than 50 property.

Malaysia is a of the most travel destination in South East Asia and we are part of them to provide hospitality service to our guest and support other host when they face any challanges. The travel and tourism business what I am doing now, i earn my living and also enjoy it.

Greetings and welcome to Southern Africa!  With our family spread in every corner of the earth we love to travel and inhale local customs, food and creations.  Home is always peaceful, pristine and accommodates many little creatures spilling over from the forest.  (no we don't have bears and tigers 😇).  This new journey has proven to be interesting, challenging in surprising ways, and rewarding with people visiting from so many different areas.  Come taste Durban's flavours, relax with sundowners and the kingfishers can entertain.  We look forward to growing and collaborating with this community.  Bonne journée à tous

Hi I’m Lise & live in Fredericton NB Canada where we have a tranquil apartment with a garden view. 

We lived in Saskatchewan growing up & I have a passion for skating and fibre- arts, but mostly sewing.  I like the challenge of sewing projects for things around my home that do not have a pattern.
