Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula and @Rebecca   and we are thrilled to have you join us.

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌

I have started Airbnb hosting and surfing for almost 7 months. So far so amazing experience with some nice people whom you to connect.

I love to travel, tried different kinds of food (big time foodie), loves to cook sometimes, playing songs on piano/keyboard music instrument and learn Hindustani classical music (raaga music)

Thanks for your warm welcome in this community. Actually, I am big time foodie explored different delicacies while traveling in different places.

In fact, I have been a part of Couch-surfing community since 2012 (Its cultural exchange hospitality portal where you host/surf or meet some new people in different parts of the world).

In past, I had really amazing experiences in terms of hosting or surfing through Couch surfing. Hence, It is easy to host or interact while hosting in Airbnb.

So far, all experiences were good both in hosting and as a guest in Airbnb.

Hi I'm Julia, and my husband Rod and I have a lovely ground floor apartment near the beach in Lo Pagán, Murcia in Spain. It has a wonderful community pool that is very welcome in the hotter months. We've been hosting since last July and so far we've been blessed with lovely guests. We're pet friendly so have welcomed some gorgeous fur babies too. For us, it's so far so good, long may it last 🤞.

I am new to having an airbnb in Texas. It’s on a lake and a beautiful stone house with a hot tub. . I have had my place booked just about every weekend for the last 2 months. I have had 11 guest and only 4 reviews which were great and all 4 stars but I am having trouble with people leaving reviews. Any suggestions?

It's great to hear that your lakefront stone house in Texas has been in high demand and that your guests have been enjoying their stays. Getting reviews from guests can sometimes be a challenge, but it's an important aspect of building your hosting reputation. 
 
It might be worth starting a conversation and asking the Hosts for some support and suggestions 😊
