Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca  and @Elisa  and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new.

Just started a conversation regarding the legal requirements for being a local co-host for local and international co-host clients in Kolkata.

Looking forward to hearing some experiences of co-hosts and clearing some doubts so I can get started.

• Explore Avenida Paulista
  Avenida Paulista is the financial and cultural heart of Sao Paulo. You can walk along this iconic avenue, which offers museums such as the MASP (Museum of Art of Sao Paulo), shops, restaurants, and cafés. On Sundays, the street is closed to traffic, allowing visitors to enjoy street art and live music.

• Visit Ibirapuera Park
  One of the largest and most beautiful urban parks in Brazil. It's ideal for relaxing, having a picnic, riding a bike, or visiting the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) or the Japanese Pavilion. On weekends, the park comes alive with recreational activities and cultural events.

• Visit the Municipal Market
  The "Mercadão" is famous for its variety of fresh and exotic products. Here, you can enjoy the famous mortadella sandwich or try tropical fruits that can't be found elsewhere. The building itself is a tourist attraction with beautiful stained glass windows.

• Walk through Vila Madalena neighborhood
  Known for its nightlife and street art, Vila Madalena is a bohemian neighborhood full of bars, galleries, and shops. Don’t miss Beco do Batman, an alley filled with impressive graffiti murals, perfect for photos.

• Explore the Historic Center
  For those interested in history, downtown Sao Paulo offers sites such as the Cathedral da Sé, Pátio do Colégio (where the city was founded), and the Municipal Theater. It's a great place to soak up local culture and learn more about the city's evolution.

• Enjoy local cuisine
  Sao Paulo is known for its culinary diversity. Your guests can enjoy Brazilian cuisine at restaurants like Fogo de Chão (famous for rodizio, an all-you-can-eat barbecue) or experience the fusion of flavors in the Japanese restaurants of Liberdade, the largest Japanese neighborhood outside of Japan.

• Visit the Liberdade neighborhood
  This is the epicenter of the Japanese community in Sao Paulo. On weekends, there are street markets with Japanese food and crafts, and visitors can explore temples and stores specializing in Asian products.

• Take a tour of the Pinacoteca
  This is one of the most important art museums in Brazil, with a collection ranging from classic Brazilian art to contemporary works. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece.

• Have a drink at a bar with a view
  Sao Paulo has some bars with stunning views of the city skyline. One of them is the Edifício Itália, which has a rooftop restaurant and bar offering panoramic views.

• Take a trip to Embu das Artes
  For those wanting to explore beyond the city, Embu das Artes is a small artistic town on the outskirts of Sao Paulo, famous for its crafts market and relaxed atmosphere. It’s perfect for buying unique souvenirs and enjoying

I am a big fan of beauty and convenience. By recently being a host with a new BNB in Noida, I plan on spreading happiness by allowing my guests to simply be in a place where the time is still and mind is at peace.
