Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca  and @Elisa  and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new.

Hi Rebecca, I did and while they were helpful in the moment guiding me what to do in a difficult situation with the guest, the resolution centre was not at all. By that time, the damage had been done.

Hi, I am from Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Uttar Pradesh is well known for Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world. It is situated in District Agra of Uttar Pradesh. And Rampur is famous for Raza Library, Gandhi Samadhi, Violin and knives. I had started hosting a year ago. My Homestay is located at the prime loacation of Civil lines, Rampur. It is behind Reliance Jewels showroom. It is also approved by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. I like to meet different people from different culture and religions and from different places. My hobbies are: travelling, listening music and watching Movies. I deal in properties and run Homestay in Rampur named "Comfort Villa".

I'm Vivek and I operate an Airbnb out of Cochin, Kerala, India. I'm a Scuba Diving Instructor and Film-maker and I guess that says enough about my interests in life. The Airbnb business is something that happened to fall into my lap under the right circumstances and I'm enjoying the all new hosting experience. Hi @Bhumika.  I was born in Sri Lanka, but educated in India and have worked as an English Language Teacher / Lecturer for 15 years in Thailand, Singapore, & S Korea.  I am now, back in India, in the city of Kolkata.  I love to meet people of different cultures, food, music and attire. I love to interact with people of other countries to know more about demography vide interactions. With so many tourists bitten by the travel bug, I wish , I can help them to make their journey a pleasant one.

Hello! I am very excited to be a part of this community. I have enjoyed meeting others while traveling. I am even more excited to do that locally and meet others, introducing them to my community by being a host. 

I am 52 and will be married in February. We each had our own home and as I tried to sell mine, I realized the market just was not right for that. I had thought of renting but, through research, found that I really enjoyed the idea of hosting others. I live in Memphis, TN. The city is growing and has much to offer! I love that I can be part of that. 

I enjoy the outdoors! I love hiking and biking and enjoy traveling.

my name is Teresa Waltman! I live in southern Indiana! My husband and I have raised 4 children and decided to renovate the lower level of our home to accommodate overnight guests! We look so forward to meeting new friends! I grew up in Wyoming and wanted AWAY from the bitter cold and winds! I look forward to this new adventure!
