One Love | Playing For Change | Song Around The World
sorry, guys, I think I'm going slightly bonkers these days... nevertheless, this is music we need to listen to 🙂
(probably gonna get banned..)
I think it should be banned. It’s misogynist - not enough representation of female soloists. 😉
(Just kidding, I enjoyed it).
@Pat271 haha, glad you enjoyed it 🙂 I don't know about you, but music has been keeping me (relatively) sane in recent months... I agree though, it would've been nice to see more female soloists. x
@Pat271
At the risk of being a pest 😉 I have to send you a link to these two wonderful female soloists (or dualists, whatever ;)) - no need to reply 🙂 https://youtu.be/7F5HND4F6Fo
Nice one, @Patricia55!
I absolutely love Anoushka Shankar, her skills are mesmerising 😍

Aren't they just! It was her dad, Ravi Shankar (via the Beatles) who turned me on to sitar music. (Also love Norah Jones, her sister, for a completely different type of music :))
@Patricia55 that's true! The whole family is incredible ❤️
I'm supposed to see Norah and Anoushka live at the Ravi Centenary concert next year, can't wait!
Thank you for sending me that video, it was a great start to my day 😊

@Patricia55 Spread the love 😊. I always play ‘Sounds of blackness, Optimistic’ for a pick me up.
@Liv Ooh lucky you. That will be special...
@Michelle1709 Thanks for the recommendation - lovely music. I had to go look up the lyrics though (my hearing!) and got a bit teary. "You can win as long as you keep your head to the sky" - I've definitely been looking at the sky a lot these days & envying the birds 😉
