I am from the U.S. and have used Airbnb since the beginning, dozens of times, in a variety of states and countries, always receiving 5 star ratings as a guest. However, due to Gebbia's support of the current administration and its repulsive DOGE, I will not use Airbnb again. This is a critical time in our country and one of the few ways that we can influence the turn of events is to vote with our dollars. I feel sympathy for the individual owners on Airbnb who may be as repulsed as I am by our country's authoritarian turn, but they do have other options. Good friends of ours now exclusively work with the other major platform to lease their beautiful lakefront property which is only available by the week. Let me say it again, due to the platforms owners' political behavior, AIRBNB HAS LOST MY BUSINESS.

I've used and enjoyed the site for years but, will look towards alternates now that the founder is aligned with an autocratic takeover of our country. 

Likewise I could never purchase a Tesla product moving forward.
