In 1989 a cat 4 hurricane washed this boat up on the side of the road going out to Folly Beach. Since then people have painted thousands of artwork, and signs on it, something new every day! Another hurricane recently picked it up with high tides and moved it again two years ago, and took a lot of effort and permitting to have it moved back to the original place.

A guest and I were having lobster rolls when I took this halfway through the pandemic.  It kind of summed it up and gave me a much-needed laugh!
