If guests didn't stay due to a propane situation & I refunded their money I received for payment, but is there a way of recouping airbnb's portion? Or do I have to absorb that fee, which is a deficit! Thanks in advance!

@Cami1891 If you refunded the money you received then there is no deficit. However if you refunded what the guest paid then yes you are about 20% down.

The proper way to have dealt with this would have been to ask Airbnb to cancel under an extenuating circumstance. If they agreed that the propane constituted an EC then the guest would be refunded in full. If not then you would be fined $50-100 which might be cheaper than the 20%
