I don't know the last time I saw a new movie that I really loved, but there hasn't been much chance to go to the cinema lately, so it's mostly been streaming online etc.
I am not into sports but I do like a good sports movie if it has real human drama involved. I really enjoyed Borg McEnroe, which I think is a must for tennis fans and a similar movie (the two would make a great double bill) is Rush.
Even if you are not into tennis/Formula 1, there's enough human interest and great performances and pace in both to make them well worth watching. Plus, anyone who is into sets and costumes like me will appreciate the attention to period detail.

Currently chewing through A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson https://printsbery.com/cards and despite me rather despising non-fiction/history - I'm very much enjoying it.

I recommend "Labyrinth of lies" a German movie.
And also I recommend a book "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" by Yuval Noah Harari. To find some really good books, you can use this resource: https://torrentsites.com/e-books/ . Many of these sites are riddled with free eBooks

@Adam1230 Film - Shawshank Redemption. It bombed in the cinema but is now rated one of its not the best film ever. Book - Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. Best to get an English translation if you are not French and book a VERY long holiday.

Hello, it would be more helpful for me if you tell me which kind of movies, you like. Do you like romantic movies or do you like horror movies or documentaries? I don't like to read books and because of this, I can't help you with the book part. Have you written any book or any blog or article? I would like to read it. I also would like to share https://translationreport.com/czech-translation-services with you because as a writer it may help you in the future.
