Refund or rebate a guest who arrived a day late as a snow storm delayed their flight

As a host should I offer to refund or rebate a guests as their flight had been delayed causing them to miss the first day of their reservation.  It was a snow storm and all flights were cancelled.   Is this something the guest should ask Airbnb to decide if it is an extenuating circumstance and Airbnb decides if some money should be refunded or is this the Hosts decision?

@John2742 airbnb will decide and refund accordingly if the guest requests it and it is classed as extenuating.

Airbnb may also contact you on the guest's behalf and request that you flex your stated policy.

You don't have to agree to that.
